The Tauern Cycle Path runs right past the hotel – a fantastic route through picturesque countryside – perfect for relaxed rides or easy training sessions.
Those looking for adventure will find what they are looking for in Saalbach Hinterglemm: flowing curves, crisp climbs and technical sections on the Hacklberg Trail, the Blue Line, Monti Line, Panorama Line and the Wurzel Trail will make every biker’s heart beat faster. In Leogang, the Epic Bike Park provides the ultimate adrenaline rush with action-packed downhill trails, challenging freeride lines and jumps – all within easy reach of the hotel.

In Maishofen, hiking becomes a family adventure: gentle valley paths, flowering meadows, idyllic streams and exciting themed trails invite children and adults alike to discover nature. Starting directly from the Hotel Victoria, you can set off on family-friendly routes that are easy enough for little legs, or slightly more challenging tours for the whole family, e.g. to the Schwalbenwand, Maishofen’s local mountain, or to the peaks of the Sausteige or Hundstein. Special adventures also await in the nearby Saalbach Hinterglemm region: on the Kodok mountain, children can enjoy their own adventure trail with puzzle stations, games and opportunities for discovery – perfect for little explorers who want to discover the mountain world in a playful way. Here’s to the hiking map.

Lake Zell is the heart of the region – refreshing, clear and perfect for athletic swimmers as well as for leisurely floating. The other lidos in Zell am See, Thumersbach and Seespitz also invite you to spend relaxing days swimming in the lake. With summer water temperatures of up to 23°C, you can take an early morning dip in the cool water or enjoy a sunny day with your family – here, every moment spent swimming becomes a special experience of nature.

The Zahme Gams via ferrata in Weißbach is particularly suitable for beginners, while experienced climbers can test their limits on the Weiße Gams or the Leoganger Süd via ferrata. Short approaches, spectacular views and perfectly secured climbs make every trip a highlight.
And if the weather isn’t playing ball, the Felsenfest climbing hall in Saalfelden offers unlimited climbing fun – here you can practise your technique, burn off energy or simply climb the walls, whatever the weather.

The region also has other golfing gems to offer: the Mittersill-Stuhlfelden Golf Club, the Gut Brandlhof Golf Club in Saalfelden and the Urslautal Golf Club in Maria Alm expand the possibilities and make Pinzgau one of Austria’s most attractive golfing destinations.

Particularly practical: the park is located directly on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, so a visit can be combined perfectly with a panoramic drive.

The hike is particularly impressive in early summer, when the snowmelt increases the volume of water. The Krimml Waterfalls are not only a spectacular photo opportunity, but also an unforgettable experience for nature lovers, hikers and families in the Salzburg region.

The Klammsee lake at the end of the gorge is particularly impressive: a turquoise-blue mountain lake that invites you to linger, take photographs and marvel at its beauty.

Particularly convenient: the ski bus stop is just a minute’s walk from the Hotel Victoria – so you can start your day’s skiing comfortably and stress-free, without needing a car.

Particularly convenient: the ski bus stop is only a minute away from the Hotel Victoria, so you can quickly and easily reach the best snowboarding spots in the region. Whether freestyle, freeride or relaxed carving – snowboarders enjoy perfect conditions around Maishofen.

One highlight is the 14-kilometer toboggan run on the Wildkogel in Bramberg, the longest illuminated run in the world. For adrenaline junkies, the Alpine Coaster “Maisi Flitzer” on the Maiskogel in Kaprun offers rapid curves and spinning descents all year round.

For those who love high mountains, the high-alpine routes “Snow Queen” and “Icebreaker” on the Kitzsteinhorn offer spectacular challenges. Breathtaking views, fresh powder snow, and unforgettable moments make every tour a highlight of your winter vacation.

Whether classic style or skating—beginners and experienced cross-country skiers alike can glide along here. Particularly enjoyable: the illuminated night trail in Maishofen ensures active hours in the snow even after sunset.
